The difference between an official file license and an official web license mainly include the following three aspects.
File License: A stand-alone license with the file suffix .lic (varies by product version). Configured through the SuperMap License Center, it can only be used on a single machine.
Web License: A network license (private cloud license) with the file suffix .licc. The private cloud license server must be deployed within the local network, and different machines can access the designated license module via the service address.
- License Application Process
File License: Requires the MAC address, machine name, or a *.report file generated by the SuperMap License Center. SuperMap Group will issue the authorization license file based on the contract.
Web License: Requires a *.reportc file generated by the private cloud license server License Center. SuperMap Group will issue the authorization license file according to the contract.
