To visualize point cloud data, you should generate S3M tiles based on your *.las data with the feature
Generate Tile
in the Ribbon
3D Data
tab of
iDesktopX.
In the popup, specify the file's path and set its coordinate system
.
Set the resulting tile's name and path.
After finishing the generation, create a new scene and add the generated S3M tiles with the feature
Adding a 3D tile layer...
to the scene window, and then you can check the point cloud data in the scene window.
Besides, you could right click the tile layer and select
Layer Properties
. In the opened
Layer Properties
dockbar >
Gradient Colors
panel, switch
Display Mode
to
Face Fill
and specify
Color Map
, and then you could see point data in different colors.

what is these parameter for? Do I need to fill it?
The parameter is used for the settings of the coordiantes of the insertion point of your point cloud data. If your point cloud data uses a geographic coordinate system (either a projected coordinate system or a geographic coordinate system), you could specify the coordinate system directly without setting the parameter. If your data doesn't use a geographic coordinate system, but data has the offset values related to the origin, you also don't need to set the parameter. But if your data neither use a geographic coordinate system, nor has the offset values, you need to set the parameter to make the result tiles can be added to the correct position on the scene.
